History

1896

Mr. Paul Schmidt first founded the Schmidt Group of Companies in Tokyo Japan.

1911

The first office opened in Beijing, becoming the headquarters in China.

1931

The first Hong Kong branch opened in the most modern office building at that time.

1953

Schmidt & Co., (Hong Kong) Limited re-registered in Hong Kong, becoming head office of Schmidt Group of Companies.

1980

Electronic Scientific Engineering inaugurated in Hong Kong, Auto Identification department set up.

2001

Group Restructuring into three independent enterprises:
Schmidt Electronics Asia Ltd. 
Schmidt BioMedTech Asia Ltd. 
Schmidt Marketing Asia Ltd.

Present

Schmidt Electronics Asia Ltd. restructured and subsequently formed Schmidt Electronics Group to rapidly and continuously develop in the high-technology hardware and software industries.
